Peter and Kerri first met in 2014, when Kerri was working in her long standing cleaning business part time while also enjoying helping others as a full-time health assistant specializing in dementia care, and Peter was a contractor focused on drywall and small home renovations. After completing his home inspector course, Peter expanded his work to include a variety of home improvement projects—always with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic. Together, they decided to combine their talents and launched a business offering small home repairs and post-construction cleaning.

It wasn’t long before they discovered their shared passion for cleaning. The cleaning side of the business offered not only more flexibility but also the opportunity to truly work side by side. Eventually, they shifted their focus entirely to residential and commercial cleaning, finding joy in the transformation a thorough clean could bring to any space like many small businesses, they faced challenges during the pandemic—losing the majority of their residential clients nearly overnight. But rather than giving up, Peter and Kerri pivoted.

They adapted by diving into vacation rental turnovers and expanding their commercial cleaning clientele, rebuilding their business with resilience and grit.

In April 2024, they made the heartfelt decision to sell their successful Okanagan-based business, taking a year to travel before settling in Alberta to be closer to Kerri’s aging parents. It was a time for rest, reflection, and recalibration. Today, Kerri continues to support cleaning business owners across Canada, the U.S., and Europe—mentoring them to build high-quality, values-driven companies through her successful online business Kedziora Business Growth. Meanwhile, Peter is excited to be back doing what he loves most—serving his local community through cleaning.
